The Secondary School comprising Grades 9 and 10 is a critical stage targeted at grooming the intellectual, aesthetic, physical and cultural growth. A smooth transition from childhood to adolescence will be facilitated by value added education even as academic challenges become the focus and students begin preparation for the All India Secondary Examination (AISE) conducted by the CBSE, New Delhi, at the end of Grade 10.
We aim to draw upon the best elements of CBSE curriculum combined with depth and range of subjects that are appropriate to the school with a holistic approach. The curriculum in the Secondary Phase will be designed to encourage higher order thinking, reasoning analytical and logical applications.
The curriculum will reflect not only the scholastic aspects, but also life skills acquisition, personality, attributes, interests, values and proficiency in co-curricular activities reflecting a true picture of the growth and profile of the learner.
Co scholastic skills will include emotional skill, thinking skill, social skill, attitudes and values apart from health and physical education, visual and performing arts, work education.
Attainment Targets: Attainment targets are set at each level which define what pupils are expected to have acquired in the way of knowledge, understanding and skills.
