Hansel & Gretel by the Grade 2 and 3
The 21st of December saw the students of grades 2 & 3 take everyone in RIS into the magical world of HANSEL & GRETEL . Wonderful performances by our characters and the enchanting dances mesmerized the audience on their trip to  Fantasy Land. Hats off to the great team of students and teachers for their scintillating performance!
African Safari – July 6th 2010
With the World Cup 2010 fever running high around the world, the students of Grade 4 took us aboard the African Safari. The wonderful skit took us through the different aspects of the African continent. The African fashion show that displayed African costumes caught the attention of the enthusiastic crowd. The Tigress Hunt was indeed a magnificent dance to watch. The African Safari provided some entertaining dance and music, African Hip Hop Style. The highlight of the show was the wonderful performance by the choir which began the show with the Welcome Song “Jaambo” and ended the show with all the Grade 4 Students with their beautiful rendition of the World Cup song “Give me Freedom”. The African Safari definitely gave the students opportunity to learn about the colourful African continent.
Primary Concert – The Enchanting Voyage(16th December 2009)
The 16th of December saw all roads leading to Rajagiri International School as the Primary Section of RIS set sail on The “Enchanting Voyage” which saw the revival of the story of Peter Pan…the boy who never grew up. It showcased the immense dancing and acting talent of the children of grades 1, 2 and 3 as they took the audience on a magical journey across the seas. The scintillating dancers transported everyone to Oriental China, Mesmerizing India, Desert lands of Arabia, Far flung Andalusia , Enchanting England and Untamed Africa. With their enthralling presence, all the characters and dancers kept everyone’s eyes glued to the stage. The colourful costumes, the grandiose stage, the impressive light and sound effects mesmerized all. When the voyage finally came to an end, a loud cheer filled the auditorium as the audience applauded the sheer energy and the spirit of the performers who had made their evening truly enchanting.
Kindergarten Annual Concert – Believe in your Dreams (24th and 25th February 2009)
The 24th & 25th of February dawned on Rajagiri with excitement, as it was the day anticipated by all, the Annual concert “ Believe in your dreams..” Dressed to the hilt to play their parts and roles, the kindergartners looked very much the characters they were out to portray. The show started with great aplomb as the little ones took over the roles of Comperes, narrators, actors and dancers. The breathtaking performances by our little ones had everyone in the audience applauding and cheering with great gusto, as they took one and all on a magical journey around Toyland with Noddy, Big Ears and Tessie Bear. The show ended on the high note, going beyond the expectations of everyone, with everyone agreeing that the little Rajagirians stars were great bundles of talent.
