UAE National Day 2010
The 39th UAE National Day was celebrated with great fervor by the students of RIS during the morning assembly conducted by Grade 3B. The students distributed dates  to the staff as a symbol of the UAE culture. The showstopper of the day was the beautiful traditional Khaliji dance by the students. The National Day spirit was seen in the teachers and students of RIS, Dubai throughout the day.

Lighting a Billion Lives Campaign (DPS Student Ambassador Program) – November 2nd 2010
The Student Council of the Primary Wing of Delhi Private School (Sharjah) visited Rajagiri International School, Dubai on 2 November. The DPS Students gave an introduction on the LaBL Campaign followed by a presentation and videos on the funds raised by the DPS School for the cause. Their choir entertained the audience with their song on the importance of light. A Question & Answer Session by our students shed further light on the whole event. The Students of RIS put forward questions to the DPS Students about the working of the Solar Lantern and the mission of the campaign. It was a good interactive session between the two schools. Four students from DPS and four students from RIS (Afzal, Manya, Shivankit and Fathima) jointly lighted the candles for the village model made by Shivankit Shylesh (Grade 4A), thus signifying the start of the LaBL campaign in RIS. The Program was concluded with the Vote of Thanks by Ruth Roy John (Grade 4B).
Talent Week
The children of Rajagiri showcased their amazing talent in different areas like music, dancing, recitation, and elocution during Talent Week. The inspirational performances of the children in various competitions like Recitation, Elocution, Vocal Music and Dance did indeed give our judges a tough time to decide the winners.
[Gallery not found]A special assembly on Eid –Al-Adha ( Festival of Sacrifice ) also known as greater Eid was conducted by the studenst of RIS. They depicted the rituals of Hajj and delivered the Eid message of worship, sacrifice and sharing.
The Salaam Project
The students of the Primary Section had the wonderful opportunity to be part of a unique musical conducted by renowned pianist Mr. Yousef Khan. The musical helped the students discover facts about the land we live in, through music and song. Greetings and phrases in Arabic were taught through songs. The students also got the opportunity to explore the culture and customs of Arabia and its wonderful landscape and wildlife through the musical.  The religion of Islam was also explained. The students were able to understand the history and Diversity of the land we live, i.e. U.A.E. It also took the children through the present and future of UAE our home.
Republic Day – 26th January 2010
The Republic Day of India was celebrated on 26/1/10 in the school quadrangle. The celebration started of with the Academic Director Fr. Matthew hoisting the Indian national flag. The little ones of KG 1 F & KG 1 G spoke about the importance of the day and sang the Indian National Anthem. Our enthusiastic kindergartners came dressed as our national leaders who fought for our freedom. Everyone sang patriotic songs and proudly waved their own little Indian flags. The fantastic quiz conducted by Mrs Nishi Ohja also added colour to our Republic Day celebrations.
Puppet Show by renowned puppeteer Mr. Ramdas Padhay – 1st February 2010
A very entertaining puppet show was conducted in RIS by world renowned puppeteer and Ventriloquist Mr Ramdas Padhay and his team. This helped the little ones to understand the world of puppet as a form of art. The children were excited to see these puppets bring to life different stories.
